Former supermodel Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia Gerber has already made her mark as one of the favorite new faces in the fashion industry.

At 16 years of age, Kaia Gerber has become more than a recognizable figure in fashion. She seems to have imbibed her modeling skills of her mother and famous model Cindy Crawford.

According to Do You Remember, Teen Vogue recognized Kaia as ‘one of the fashion industry’s favorite new faces’ in 2017.

The budding supermodel has also made her debut in acting by bagging a role in the 2016 TV movie Sister Cities.

Kaia’s modeling career began at the tender age of 10. As her very first project, she landed a gig with Versace, walking the ramp for the brand’s special line for children, Young Versace.

Impressed by her display of talent on the project, she was called a baby supermodel by Vogue.

Kaia draws inspiration from multiple known personalities in the fashion world. Besides her mother, she has huge regard for the gorgeous supermodel Karlie Kloss.

In an interview with Teen Vogue, Kaia shared that she looked up to Kloss for being unconventional and disregarding the stereotypical expectations from a supermodel.

Kaia also expressed her admiration for Kloss’ way of using her work and status to benefit other people. In her experience, Kloss is also one of the nicest human beings she has met so far.

Speaking about her mother, Kaia told People that Cindy taught her the importance of being nice to people, knowing the names of everyone she works with.

Kaia is the child of Cindy and her husband Rande Gerber, who have been married since 1998. Kaia is Cindy’s second child, born after her son Presley.

Kaia is currently signed up with IMG Models and recently worked on a campaign for the Marc Jacobs' Daisy fragrance.

Besides modeling for magazines like Teen Vogue, Vogue and Pop Magazine, she has walked the ramp for Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Chanel, Prada and other globally renowned brands.
