Carrie Underwood stuns in gold mini dress on first public outing with husband since injury

Country singer Carrie Underwood stunned on the red carpet with her husband, Mike Fisher, for the first time since her accident last year. In November 2017, the star had a nasty fall.

This year, she started resuming her public life since the incident. According to People, she and her husband were seen at the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday.

Carrie Underwood, 35, and Mike Fisher, 38, walked the CMT Music Awards red carpet in Nashville this week. This was their first red carpet appearance together since she fell and broke her wrist and had more than 40 stitches to her face.

For the awards ceremony, Underwood wore a gold sequined mini dress studded with pearls. Meanwhile, Fisher kept it simple in a stylish blazer over a black sweater with black pants.

Underwood also performed at the awards show. The star holds the title of most CMT Music Award wins with 17.

On Wednesday she was nominated for another four. This tied her with Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean for the most nominations for the night.

Isaiah Michael Fisher’s, 3, mother spent the past few months resuming her public life after working on healing from the accident. So far she’s performed her single Cry Pretty on American Idol.

She celebrated her 10-year anniversary at the Grand Ole Opry. While currently she’s been working on her forthcoming album Cry Pretty.

Late last year, Underwood fell down the steps outside of her home while taking her dogs out for a walk. “There was one step, and I didn’t let go of the leashes!” she shared in a recent interview on The Bobby Bones Show.

She revealed that she tripped, tried to balance herself, and missed a step. The country singer fell on a step which caused her injuries.
