Huffington Post: Beyoncé and Jay-Z did not use their own children in photo for 'On The Run II' tour
Beyoncé and Jay-Z hold a pair of cute babies in a video at the opening of their new tour
A video played during the opening of music legends Beyoncé and Jay-Z' concert featured the two holding two tiny tots in their arms.
Fans would have been forgiven for presuming the children were the couple's 1-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir, but they would be wrong, reported Huffington Post.
The video was shown at the On The Run II tour kick-off in Cardiff, Wales. The images projected on three giant screens showed Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and two children emblazoned with the words: “Love Never Changes.”
Initially, many publications reported that the children in the video were the stars' own babies, Rumi and SIr; but a representative of the couple announced that the children were not their own.
Excited fans flooded the Internet with comments on the babies' 'cuteness'. The enthusiasm is partly the result of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's obsession with privacy as it pertains to their children.
Beyoncé shared a photo of the newborns on Instagram, when they turned 1 month old in July 2017, and little else since
Beyoncé was equally restrained throughout her pregnancy, with few posts celebrating her baby bump.
The only images of the babies have been snaps captured by paparazzi. Beyoncé and Jay-Z also have an older daughter, a 6-year-old called Blue Ivy.
The couple has always been extremely low key as far as their personal lives go, and married without publicity in 2008.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z are one of the most influential couples in music history and have sold a combined 300 million records. Read more about Beyoncé and Jay-Z on our Twitter account @amomama_usa.
