Vanessa Williams & Rick Fox are all smiles in reunion pic from daughter's college graduation

The proud mom captures a precious moment with her ex-husband and their daughter as they celebrate a special milestone.

She’s been preparing herself for an empty nest this year when her daughter goes off to college. And now it seems Vanessa Williams is just months away from the inevitable as she proudly celebrates her daughter Sasha’s high school graduation with her father Rick Fox.

The proud parents were in high spirits as they laughed with their graduate in a photo Vanessa shared on her Instagram. The ex-spouses stood on each side of their toga-clad grown up who beamed as she held on to a bouquet of flowers and her high school diploma.

Fresh from the graduation rites, Vanessa revealed to her followers that she was truly proud of her daughter’s accomplishment as she wrote the caption,

“Proud parents of our graduate #sashafoxy”

In June 2017, Vanessa opened up about what she advises her college-bound daughter. She told Too Fab,

“I'm telling her enjoy it while you can, everything being paid for because once you're out it's a whole different story!"

Describing her daughter as matured, Vanessa also believes she’ll course through college effortlessly.

“I'm happy for her, she's matured, it's amazing in high school how big the maturity leap is per year and I think she's really gonna do well in college."

Sasha is the 55-year-old’s only daughter with Rick, her second husband. However, she shares three other children with her first husband Ramon Hervey II. In 2015, the former beauty queen tied the knot with businessman Jim Skrip.
