Carl & Harriette Winslow from 'Family Matters' reunited in touching photo 21 yrs after the show

Jo Marie Payton is better known for her role as the matriarch of the Winslow family in the late ‘80s sitcom “Family Matters” She recently surprised fans with a beautiful picture of a special encounter she had with a friend and fellow co-star from the show.

As Celebritist reported before, Mrs. Payton recently celebrated her 67th birthday, and she’s still looking as beautiful as ever. Jo Marie still has the same youthful glow that has always characterized her, and 20 years after the end of the show that put her into the spotlight, she’s still grateful with her friends from the cast.

In a surprise post, made to her Facebook page, the actress shared a photo with actor Reginald VelJohnson, who gave life to her on-screen husband, policeman Carl Winslow, in “Family Matters.” Both of them are looking great despite being in their sixties.

The encounter took place at the “Giving Back Corporation's 19th Celebrity Spring Toast / Roast,” where Jo Marie was one of this years’ honorees and where the attendees had the pleasure of hearing her sing.

After having some days to settle down after the performance and the honor, she returned to social media to post the awaited photo and she wrote in her caption:

“I know I'm Tardy with the "Thank You (s). Thank You FB Family, for All your Congrats and Kind Words. It All really meant a lot to me and I Love and Appreciate You All. I Was tired and trying to pull it all together. So, forgive me for the late response. Headed back home next week. Will play catch up after I settle. Love Ya. Jo. Had a Great time with my other husband. Still got that Winslow Magic!”

While Payton has been focusing on her family while hosting some events and making sporadic appearances here and there, Reginald is still active in Hollywood. His most recent acting credits include appearances on series like “Brooklyn Nine-Nine,” and “Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero,” and films like “Funny Story.”

We’re glad to see that after twenty years of the end of “Family Matters,” the Winslows are still on good terms and looking as great as ever.
