David Thibault became an internet sensation in 2013 after the video showing him replicate Elvis' voice went viral.


The then-16-year-old David Thibault was captured singing and playing the guitar to the popular Christmas song, Blue Christmas originally performed by the King of Rock 'n Roll, Elvis

The internet went berserk over the video as people could not believe the accuracy to which Thibault managed to impersonate the great Elvis.

The video went viral and has garnered over 13.8 million views and over 3,440 comments since it was first published in December 2013. 

Not only did Thibault give a flawless impression of Elvis' voice and guitaring skills, the young man also performed with the icon's mannerisms and sang with Elvis' unmissable and unforgettable signature lip curls.


Although Thibault matched Elvis' baritone while singing, his normal speaking voice was a lot higher. The viral video did not fail to give Thibault a shot at fame


He was featured in The Voice France and chose an Elvis classic to perform during his blind audition. Thibault's rendition of Blue Suede Shoes allowed him to reach a wider audience.

Coach Florent Pagny was the one who instantly hit the 'I Choose You Button' after listening to Thibault's voice. Among the other coaches was Love Today singer Mika.


Under the coaching of Pagny, Thibault managed to reach to finals of the show and finished third in the competition. 


During his stay on the show, Thibault also performed Michael Jackson's Black and White, Beyonce's Crazy In Love, and The Cure's Close To Me.

Thibault has been active in the music industry since he rose to fame after the viral video. His music is available on multiple platforms like Youtube, Apple Music, and Spotify. Thibault also frequently tours for his shows in France.
