Rapper Eve is known for her trademark paw print tattoos and she recently upgraded her unique artwork in a post promoting her appearance at the LA Pride event.

Donning a white low-neck corset with several silver belts running across her torso, Eve revealed her "newly colored" tattoos positioned on each of her breasts.  The wife of Maximillion Cooper aesthetically painted over her original tattoo in gay pride colors in honor of the occasion she was gracing. The paw print artwork which she got when she was only 18 has become her signature body mark along with all the other tattoos she has on her body.

According to an article by Popstart Ats, the rapper acquired her signature paw prints after she was dared by a friend to have them inked on her breasts. Though she initially dismissed the idea, she eventually went through with it and today she admits,

“Now it’s a thing, now that’s how people recognize me.”

But her famous prints were not the first tattoos she got. A year earlier, she intended to get a tattoo of the four seasons in Chinese characters but because she couldn’t stand the pain, she ended up getting just Winter. Trying to put meaning into the failed effort, she explained,

“I tried to make it make sense, like I was born in the winter…it was stupid.”

Eve also admitted she made a few other tattoo mistakes later, one of which was a tribute to her former boyfriend Stevie J also known as “Sleazy”.  She engraved the words ‘Sleazy’s Girl” but since they broke up, she covered it up with a red peony, her favorite flower.  Another tattoo she covered up was one on her arm in Japanese that read “Evil Eve” when she thought it said “tiger.”

Eve’s love for tattoos is a testament to her story and her travels according to the star. She said,

“They all still have meaning – even when I’ve had to cover one up. I’ve only had to do that twice. But they each tell a story. I’ve gotten my tattoos in different countries that I love – so it’s like a map. A scrapbook.”

Apart from her paw prints and her mistaken tattoos, Eve also has a spider on her left shoulder, a peony on her right wrist and a flower on the back of her right shoulder.
