Vogue’s editor-in-chief showcased her impeccable sense of fashion walking the red carpet of the 72nd annual Tony Awards on June 10, teamed with her daughter as the two stole the attention of all the photographers.
Wintour is in charge of one of the most prestigious fashion magazines in the world, and despite her bust agenda, she has numbered opportunities to step out and display her ability to put on a remarkable outfit together.
As Daily Mail reported, 68-year-old Wintour enjoyed one of those rare nights away from work to attend the renowned awards ceremony that celebrates and recognizes the achievements of Broadway theatre, accompanied by her daughter Bee Shaffer.
The fashion icon sported a striking yellow Prada gown with touches of flowers and sequins as she posed with her daughter standing close as the two posed in front of a flowered wall as they arrived at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
The mother-of-two looked fabulous at the star-studded event in her short-sleeved dress with a black leather belt wrapped around her slender waist.
Sparkling floral patches covered her shoulders and ran all the way down, and rows of gilded sequins sewn vertically adorned the dress in all its extension.
She completed the outfit with a bright purple and lavender-hued gemstone necklace. As she has done since she was 14, Wintour arranged her hair in her signature short bob with blunt fringe across her forehead.
Shaffer, Wintour’s 30-year-old daughter, who works as a TV and film producer, chose a floral chiffon layered Alexander McQueen dress with a bright red sash of fabric across her hips and how her left leg for the awards ceremony.
