Sophia Grace and Rosie became an internet sensation in 2012 after the video showing them perform a Nicki Minaj song went viral.
Cousins, Sophia Grace Brownlee and McClelland, teamed together as 'Sophia Grace and Rosie; to take the internet by storm. Sophia Grace was eight, while Rosie was just eight.
The duo performed a rendition of Nicki Minaj's hit song Super Bass in their pink fairy dresses. As Sophia Grace was rapping some of the toughest bars, Rosie was seen grooving to the song without inhibition.
The video was captured by their mothers who were seen in the reflection of the mirror behind the adorable girls. The Youtube video went viral and has received over 53.6 million views since it was uploaded in September 2011.
The video did not fail to provide Sophia Grace and Rosie a shot at fame. The duo was invited on The Ellen Degeneres Show to perform in front of a live audience.
Rapper Nicki Minaj also surprised the young girls by appearing on the episode, The duo ended up recreating the song on stage together with the star herself.
Sophia Grace and Rosie did not take time to become household names. They were interviewed as celebrities at red carpet events. They had guest-star appearances on shows like Sam and Cat along with Ariana Grande.
The pair released their first children's book titled Tea Time with Sophia Grace and Rosie on February 1, 2013.
Sophia had also bagged the role of Little Red Riding Hood in the Disney adaptation of Into the Woods before her parents backed out of the project as some of the themes in the film were too mature for her age.
Sophia Grace and Rosie's fame had reached new heights when Just Play created dolls modeled after them. The dolls wore the same pink fairy dresses that the girls had donned in the viral video.
The girls have grown up rather quickly since their famous video and have a huge following on social media. Sophia Grace has entered the field of fashion and makeup and continues to sing.
On the other hand, Rosie has gone solo with her music and has her own YouTube channel where she posts her music videos and vlogs.
Rosie has over 460,000 followers on Instagram, while her cousin Sophia Grace has a followership of a whopping 1.2 million people.
