Cuba Gooding Jr. rocks blonde hair and poses next to son who is also an actor

The devoted father proves how far he'll go to bond with his children, one of which is about to make his film debut.

Cuba Gooding Jr. is a supportive dad and earlier in the year, he proved that when joined his two sons, Spencer and Mason Gooding in dyeing their hair blond. The photo posted by his younger son Mason showed the three men sporting blonde hair as he dared his followers to declare “who wore it best” in his caption.

Mason is also an actor like his father. In fact, the 21-year-old is a student at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York University. Last month, Variety revealed the young looker was going to be part of the cast of Olivia Wilde’s directorial debut ‘Booksmart’ which stars Kaitlyn Denver and Beanie Feldstein along with Jessica Williams, Jason Sudeikis, Lisa Kudrow, Will Forte and Mike O’Brien.

The film reportedly centers around Dever and Feldstein’s overachieving characters who realized on the eve of their high school graduation that they should have played more rather than worked more. Out to make the most of their time left in high school, they set out to make their last night as fun as they could to make up for the four years of missed opportunity.

It’s unclear what Mason’s exact role would be in the film but it won’t be a surprise if he makes an impression on his debut. His father bagged an Oscar for his breakthrough role in Jerry Maguire early on in his career.

Mason also hails from a family of entertainers beginning with his grandfather Cuba Gooding Sr. who was a famous soul musician and his grandmother Shirley Gooding a singer. His father’s siblings were also heavily into the arts. April Gooding is an actress, Thomas Gooding is a musician and Omar Gooding, also known as Big O. is a voice artist, comedian and rapper.

Cuba shares his two boys with his ex-wife Sara Kapfer who he was married to for 20 years prior to their separation in 2014. The ex-couple also share their youngest daughter Piper.
