Anthony and Ottavia exchanged vows in 2007, two years after he divorced from his first wife and high school sweetheart, Nancy Putkoski, whom he had married in the late eighties.
Ariane was born in 2007. Anthony was overjoyed, but being away from his family for long periods of time took its toll on the renowned chef.
He traveled to remote locations to film his shows and would be away for up to 250 days at a stretch, depending on the setting of his projects.
The couple parted ways in 2016 and Anthony began dating Asia Argento, an Italian actress, sometime last year. His divorce from Ottavia was never finalized.
Anthony was found dead in his hotel room on June 8th, and authorities have ruled his death as a suicide by hanging. He was in Paris filming episodes for his CNN show, Parts Unknown.
Bourdain had been a CNN employee for the past five years, and the network was shocked to learn of his death. They extended their deepest condolences to his family.
Bourdain began his career in the early seventies when he graduated from the Dwight-Englewood School. He also attended the Vassar College.
Anthony was an award-winning author as well, having penned Kitchen Confidential and Medium Raw. For more details about Bourdain, follow our Twitter account, AmoMama USA.
