'My 600-lb Life' star tied the knot

Steven Assanti made a name for himself when he starred on TLC’s reality series My 600-Lb Life. There he gained a bad name by being the worst weight-loss candidate.

However, the former reality star has reached a milestone in his life that has nothing to do with his weight. According to a Facebook post by Stephanie Sanger, she and Assanti got married last month.

Assanti, 36, became one of the most controversial stars to on My 600-lb Life. He used to eat six pizzas a day before joining the show.

The former reality star started his weight-loss journey at 734 pounds. However, on the show, he would throw tantrums, secretly order takeout, abuse painkillers, and go on YouTube rants

Now the star has found someone who loves him just as he is. Assanti and his girlfriend, Stephanie Sanger got married and she posted a picture to her Facebook account to celebrate it.

In the image, the two are seen holding up their hands, apparently showing off their wedding bands. Sanger wrote in another post, ‘It's a nice day for a white wedding. Just married Stephanie Assanti and Steven Assanti — cross my heart and hope to die to my lover I'll never lie.’

The two made their relationship public just after Valentine’s Day. They’ve both shared messages back and forth about one another in the months since.

According to In Touch Weekly, in a February 28 post that was deleted, Assanti wrote, ‘Good morning friends and to the best girlfriend in the world Stephanie Sanger I love you baby with my soul n heart.’

In that post, he shared that he wanted everyone to continue knowing that Sanger was the reason why he looked forward to their future. He added that she was the best.
