Beyoncé rocked Victorian-inspired plunging wedding dress at renewal ceremony
Beyoncé and husband Jay Z are still crazy in love with each other, and they recently revealed through some clips on their new tour, that after 10 years of being married they renewed their vows. Queen B lived up to her moniker, rocking a dress inspired by Queen Victoria's wedding dress.
They are one of the most iconic power couples in the industry, and after kicking off their joint “On the Run II World Tour,” Beyoncé and Jay Z keep on cementing their status as King and Queen of the hip-hop/R&B industry.
On June 6, the expecting audience in Cardiff, Wales witnessed, for the first time, exclusive footage of the couple’s lives featuring their kids, Blue Ivy, 6, and the twins Sir and Rumi, 11-months-old. The homemade clips show a bit from the couple’s story, and while the emotional video is shown on the big screen, Beyoncé is singing her own version of Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect.”
In the second half of the video, just when Jay Z starts performing “Young Forever,” clips of Beyoncé pregnant with the twins appear on screen, and later, the couple is shown dressed in all white surrounded by family and their three kids as they perform a ceremony to renew their vows.
Bey is sporting a beautiful dress by Israeli designer Galia Lahav. The Galia Lahav Thelma Victorian wedding dress, which has a tag price of almost $15,000, is inspired by Queen Victoria’s wedding dress.
The off-the-shoulder design features a corseted body adorned with Swarovski crystals and pearls, a sheer back made of Chantilly lace, sheer drape silk tulle sleeves and multiple sheer cut-outs to accentuate the figure.
“YES, IT HAPPENED! Queen B has worn our dress to her vow renewal with her husband Jay-Z and we couldn’t be more ecstatic about it! This is a dream come true to be able to dress Miss Beyonce herself on such a major event in her life. A moment so special we wanted to share it with you all!” wrote the designers’ team on their website.
Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mom, shared a capture of the video that features the couple holding their heads down in front of each other while their adorable twins are being held by family members.
Is not the first time that Bey and Jay hold a secret ceremony. Their 2008 wedding was also kept under wraps, and it was six years later that fans were able to catch a glimpse at the photos of the wedding when they revealed some on their "On the Run Tour" in 2014.
At least now we didn’t have to wait for that much to found out about the ceremony.
