The devoted wife was thankful in her recent post after sharing the news that her husband’s cancer has been removed following a surgery. And while Gregg is “doing great” according to the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star, he is still unable to eat a lot.

Nene also posed a question to her followers on whether they should do chemotherapy or not. The procedure is usually given to cancer patients to treat any remaining cancer cells in the body post-surgery. She wrote,

“Now we have to decide whether we do chemo or not...Would you?"

Apart from her update, the 50-year-old also expressed her thanks to all of her husband’s well wishers.

“We have been so overwhelmed with the outpouring of love, support, thoughtfulness & prayers. Some of you have educated us on cleanses, diets and holistic healthcare. We wouldn’t know some of these things if it wasn’t for the reach we have been blessed to have.”

Nene also thanked her co-stars in her reality television show for their “gifts, love and just good ole words of encouragement.” She tagged Cynthia Bailey, Kandi Burruss, Eva Marcille, Kenya Moore, Marlo Hampton, and Shamea Moore. She also included her rivals Porsha Thomas and Kim Zolciak and former cast mates Lisa Wu and Phaedra Parks.

Nene’s recent update came in the heels of her surprising announcement the day before that her husband was diagnosed with cancer. Just weeks after he was released from the hospital after a 16-day-confinement, Gregg’s cancer is another heart-wrenching blow to the couple. But Nene remains steadfast in her support of her husband and joining him in his fight. She told her followers,

“Our New Normal and the fight begins.”

Today it seems the couple is on the way to winning their battle, thanks to their relentless fighting spirit.
