Meghan Markle starts gushing about her marriage with Harry during spontaneous talk with fans

The Duchess of Sussex broke protocol and spoke about her marriage

On the 14th of June 2018, Duchess Meghan and Queen Elizabeth attended the official opening of the Mersey Gateway Bridge, in Cheshire.

It was the Duchess' first official engagement as a member of the Royal family, and the 36-year-old looked relaxed and very happy. While walking through the crowds of admirers and well-wishers, Duchess Meghan smiled and talked to fans.

One of these was Sharon Briscoe, 61. Briscoe had traveled over 25 miles from her home in Chirk, Wales, to see the Duchess and was thrilled to have a brief informal chat with her, and the incident was posted on Twitter.

Briscoe asked Duchess Meghan how she was enjoying her new life with Prince Harry, to which she replied: 'It is wonderful,' Meghan told her. 'I'm really enjoying it'

'She seems so genuine and really warm and not rushing with people.'

Briscoe asked her to 'give our love to Harry and to look after him.' To this Duchess, Meghan replied: 'I will do. That means an awful lot to us. He's the best husband ever.'

The queen seemed as delighted with her as the crowds, and the two Royal women were observed whispering and giggling together like schoolgirls during the ceremony.

The Duchess showed her unerring sense of style in an elegant cream dress with a layered cape detail by Givenchy, accessorised with a narrow black belt, black shoes, and a pretty clutch bag.

The new Duchess proved to be gracious, friendly and completely at ease in her new role as a member of the British Royal family and may in time prove to be as kind and warm as her deceased mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
