Will Smith shares throwback clip of his 'terrified' daughter's first ballet class
Willow Smith, the daughter of Jada and Will Smith, was not always the confident person she seems to be nowadays. Will’s recent post proved that.
In a video that the famous actor uploaded to his Instagram account, a younger Willow was shown practicing some ballet moves before actually going to her first ballet class.
During the shooting, Will asked why they were there at that moment and she replied that it was because she was afraid of her upcoming lesson. Later, Willow was shown with one leg on a high bar and flexing her other leg, improving her flexibility.
The video restarted right after the ballet class ended. Willow’s face showed how excited and happy she was as Will asked her how had it been.
Willow, who was not afraid anymore, confessed that it was ‘awesome.’ The ballet teacher admitted that Will’s daughter had good flexibility, good posture, and, more important, a big smile.
Later, Will told Willow that she had conquered her fears. Finally, he asked his daughter to say something to herself for the future and Willow said: 'just do it.'
For the caption, the proud father confessed that Willow was ‘terrified’ before the ballet lesson. She even tried to cancel everything the night before as she was getting physically sick from fear.
Nowadays, Willow is working next to her mother in the Facebook Watch series Red Table Talk. During a recent episode, she and her brother, Jaden Smith, revealed a couple of uncomfortable situations that came with the fame.
Jaden admitted that he didn’t know whether he had to pay for everything or not when he and his friends went out for dinner. Willow also said that she and a group of friends went to Disneyland once and they thought that Willow would pay for everything. However, it had never been her plan.
While growing up being famous might have been hard for them, they are very successful people at the moment.
