Beyoncé steals the show with an epic Mary J. Blige dance in new video
Pop star Beyoncé and her talented rapper husband Jay-Z have been surprising her fans during their On The Run II tour, which started earlier this month.
One of the first things the couple did to shock the audience during their concert was sharing a video of them wearing white outfits at a ceremony, which made people think that they secretly renewed their vows.
The couple never stopped surprising people and during one of the most recent concerts, Beyoncé paid a tribute to the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul Mary J. Blige by borrowing some of her most iconic dance moves.
In a short video uploaded to the Twitter’s account of DJ Wally Sparks, Beyoncé was shown moving back and forth, shaking her head up and down, and moving her arms and legs very similarly to the way Mary J. did during her concerts.
To add more nostalgia to her performance, Beyoncé put on iridescent-platinum thigh high boots. Her fans couldn’t help but comment on it, including Twitter user Gabriel Williams, who posted the video of Beyoncé’s routine and wrote that she went ‘full Mary J. Blige on [sic] them.’
Those posts were uploaded a couple of days before Beyoncé and Jay-Z released the first video of their joint album, Everything Is Love.
Their song is titled APES**T, and the name they gave to her duo was The Carters, which is Jay-Z's real last name.
According to Daily Mail, the video was recorded in the worldwide famous Louvre museum in Paris. The couple is portrayed next to several artworks, including the Mona Lisa while wearing very stylish outfits.
All the activities the couple has done together set clear that their relationship has improved a lot since it was revealed that Jay-Z cheated on Beyoncé.
Even though neither of them said a word about the incident, people realized their relationship underwent a touch situation when Beyoncé album Lemonade was released, wherein the singer made several references to an affair.
Finally, Jay-Z admitted to having cheated on his wife during a conversation he had with The New York Times. Thankfully, the couple managed to talk through it and are happily living their life together.
