While Stephen Curry is on a quick break from basketball after Golden State Warriors’ championship win, he has been making the most out of his time with his family. While Curry might be tough on the court, he shows just how much of a family man he is in a new photograph posted on Instagram.

In the photo, The Golden State Warrior point guard carried his two adorable daughters, whom he claims are both very active.

When he is not busy practicing with the rest of his team, the 28-year-old devotes all his time to his wife Ayesha, and their two gorgeous daughters Riley and Ryan. The adorable couple have known each other since they were in high school, but it wasn’t until college that they began their relationship.

During an interview with Parents, both Stephen and Ayesha shared their interesting love story.

The two of them shared the same church group as teenagers. However, Stephen never made a move on Ayesha, simple because she was not allowed to date in high school. The two like to joke around that they were both “too focused on God” to start a relationship. It wasn’t until Stephen was a rising star at Davidson College and Ayesha was starting an acting career in Los Angeles that they started to date. The two reconnected through Facebook, when Steph visited LA for the ESPYS sports awards show, which Ayesha thought was a friendly meet up before Steph leaned in for a kiss that she ended up dodging.

When they were back in Charlotte, the two of them started to see each other, and they had their first kiss in the driveway of Steph’s parents’ house in Charlotte. A few years later, the couple got engaged in the same spot. Speaking of their engagement, Steph shared:

“It was in the same spot where we had our first kiss - in the driveway of my parents’ house in Charlotte. Yeah, it was like ‘The Notebook’. The plan was to act like we were going to a family cookout. So we pulled up to the house, and I stopped in the middle of the driveway, got down on my knee, and went into my spiel. Little did I know the whole family was looking out the window videotaping the moment.”

Steph and Ayesha got married while they were both 23 and 22 respectively, and the basketball superstar shared that despite getting married young, he knew that she was the right woman for him and he wanted to start a life with her.

Ayesha supports her husband in every home game they have in the bay, and the two of them lock eyes before each game and have a pre-game ritual sign. When asked to share the sign, Steph explains that the two of them have matching tattoos. Steph would then flex his muscle and smack the tattoo while Ayesha does the same.

“We have matching tattoos […] This signifies that the past is behind us and the future is in front of us, so we stay in the middle, in the moment. I smack my tattoo ands does the same.”

Ayesha adds: “It’s a reminder for him to have fun. I never want to forget that.”

The Curry family serves as an inspiration to many, and now we know why. The family seems to have it all: faith, love, fame, and successful careers.
