Serena Williams' husband steals hearts with photo of baby Alexis giving him a sweet hug

He shared the sweet photo to social media, and it's clear that his daughter is utterly content lying on his chest where he was holding her.

Alexis Ohanian Sr. is the husband of tennis star Serena Williams. In April of 2017, the then-engaged couple announced that the athlete was expecting their first child together.

In September 2017, Williams went into labor, and hours later the couple welcomed their daughter, who they named Alexis Olympia Ohanian. Since then, she has made numerous appearances on her parents' social media accounts.

A recent Instagram post by Ohanian caught fans' attention, simply because the image was just too beautiful for words.

In the photo, the proud papa is holding his baby girl against him, and she looks the picture of contentment as she rests her head high up on his chest.

Ohanian had a simply caption for the lovely image: "The best."

Within just a day, the post had almost 50,000 likes.

Williams and Ohanian met in Rome in 2015, and started dating. In December 2016, they learned that Williams was pregnant, and Ohanian proposed.

The tennis star continued to play, and won the 2017 Australian Open when she would have been approximately 8 weeks pregnant with her daughter. The couple only made the pregnancy news public in April, when she was 20 weeks.

Since Alexis' birth, Williams has returned to competitive tennis, although she had to unfortunately withdraw from the French Open early due to an injury to her right pectoral muscle.

As a result of the withdrawal, Williams and Ohanian, along with Williams' mother, decided to take the 9-month-old on a day trip to Disneyland Paris.
