Peter Fonda unleashed a series of tweets in connection to the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" policy that includes separating children from their parents who are attempting to enter the U.S. illegally. "We should rip Barron Trump from his mother's arms and put him in a cage with pedophiles and see if the mother will stand up against the giant a**hole she is married to," the Easy Rider star tweeted on Wednesday, June 20. According to an AOL report, hours later, the actor released a statement apologizing for his comments.  "I tweeted something highly inappropriate and vulgar about the president and his family in response to the devastating images I was seeing on television. "It was wrong and I should not have done it. I immediately regretted it and sincerely apologize to the family for what I said and any hurt my words have caused." Barron's older brother Donald Trump Jr tweeted that there was "a special place in hell" for Fonda.  "I didn’t think it was possible but @iamfonda found a way to be as disgusting as his sister Jane was when she stood with the enemy in Vietnam," he added, referring to Fonda's sister, actress Jane Fonda. "Doesn’t get more vile than wishing for a young boy to be raped by pedophiles. There’s a special place in hell," added Trump Jr. Trump Jr. also pushed his support of a boycott of Fonda's forthcoming film for Sony Pictures Classics, "Boundaries," set for theatrical release on June 22. It is important to note that Mr. Fonda plays a very minor role in the film. "As an FYI @SonyPictures has a movie with him dropping in a few days. I wonder if they will apply the same rules to @iamfonda that they did to @therealroseanne. I have a strange suspicion that they won’t do anything. Please RT, we deserve an answer!," Trump Jr. tweeted on Wednesday. Fonda, 78, is an Oscar-nominated actor as well as the son of Henry Fonda and younger brother of Jane Fonda.
