Marlon Wayans steals hearts in photo with sister who also starred in 'In Living Color'
Marlon Wayans shares touching photos with his sister Kim Wayans, who visited him on set of his TV series "Marlon".
Kim is one of Marlon's nine siblings, and the loving brother shared an appreciation post as she joined him on the set of his NBC TV show "Marlon". Kim shared her talents on the show this week, and she is set to appear on a few episodes alongside her brother.
Kim Wayans, 56, is the older sister of Marlon, who is only 45 years old. While she has been married to Kevin Knotts for decades, the two of them have decided not to have any children. Meanwhile, Kim is known as "Auntie Mame" to her dozens of nieces and nephew from her nine siblings.
“I’m Auntie Mame. I think it’s because I come from a huge family that I don’t feel the need. I’ve always had kids to love and to cuddle. When I get tired of them, I take them back home.”
While Marlon is more visible on television due to his show, Kim Wayans is also a very talented actress. She has done projects on television, movies, and even theaters. She was a part of "My Wife and Kids", but her best TV role was in Fox's comedy show "In Living Color", where she starred alongside her siblings.
Due to her colorful career and that of her husband's, their career-orientedness might have added to the reasons why they chose not to have any children of their own.
Marlon's post included a selfie of him and his sister while he promoted his show. He reveals that his sister is guest starring in the show for a couple of episodes, and that fans should look forward to it.
In another photo, Marlon could be seen giving his older sister a peck on the cheek while someone took a photo of the precious moment. Like Marlon always does when he posts photos of people he loves, he shared a heartfelt tribute for his sister Kim.
"Always been my comedic, intelligence, spiritual hero. A great sister a beautiful person and a magical artist. You are “whimsical”. Thank you for sharing your amazing talents on my show and your amazing spirit in my life. Love u @kimwayans always... baby bro Nazz"
Despite being a large family, it is good to see how the Wayans siblings continue to stay close and keep in-touch with one another even after years of living separate lives.
