Crystal Smith, who has been married to singer and actor Ne-Yo since 2016, took to Instagram to share the first photos showing the face of the couple’s son.

The proud mother uploaded a four-image slideshow portraying Roman Alexander Raj Smith. The first picture showed the baby sleeping while wearing a white shirt covered by a grey and white blanket.

For the second image, Roman was sleeping, too, but he was not wearing a shirt. The third photo showed Crystal laying on a bed while the baby was resting on her chest in the cutest way.

The fourth and final image portrayed Roman alone sleeping while wearing a white, grey, and red beanie hat. Even though the photos were remarkable, Crystal’s caption was the highlight of her post.

She confessed that she started changing from the very first time she learned about the pregnancy. Apart from that, Crystal added that there has been a sense of calm surrounded her and that it was all thanks to God.

Apart from that, Crystal confessed that she was feeling more connected to her ‘perfect little angel’ than she had with anyone else in her life. However, she pointed out that her first son, Shaffer Chimere Jr., was the ‘apple of her eye’ and that she loved him, too.

Crystal even took her time to joke by saying that Roman might be Ne-Yo’s twin, but that he was only hers. She finally said that the baby has green eyes, a feature that couldn’t be seen because all the photos showed the baby sleeping.

As People reported, Crystal and Ne-Yo welcomed Roman to the world on June 14, 2018, at 2:11 p.m. at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California, weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and measuring 19 inches in length.

Crystal confessed on a different Instagram post that she was forced to change the birth plan designed as a routine doctor visit revealed that Roman wasn’t doing well in her womb, so she had to undergo an emergency C-section.

Thankfully, the baby was born healthy and is now enjoying his life next to his famous family.
