Nicole Kidman flaunts her age-defying beauty in 'delicate' frock

The Australian Academy Award-winning actress flaunted her ageless beauty in Los Angeles

Nicole Kidman, 51, stepped out in her inimitable style and elegance at a Neutrogena event in Los Angeles on the 24th of June 2018.

The actress wore a delicate pink 1940s inspired dress that flattered her slender figure and her porcelain complexion and posted photos of her presence at the event on Instagram.

The dress was made from a blush-pink fabric, printed with pearly arabesques. The long sleeves were wide and deeply pleated, as was the long full skirt.

The final touch was a lovely guipure lace collar and wide cuffs that added a touch of vintage charm to the dress.

'For my girls, I'll use a 30, but I like the SPF 50 for me, which is the one that I use and I also love the sheer zinc because for me it's such a great protection for my nose and for my shoulders when I'm working.'

She wore her blonde hair swept up in charming disarray and accessorized with an eye-catching ring and a tennis bracelet.

Kidman wore unobtrusive makeup and a subtle pale pink lipstick that gave her a glowing youthful look that belied her age.

Kidman who is the Neutrogena ambassador was present at the luncheon to promote the use of SPF.

SPF, or Sun Protection Factor, is a measure of how well a sunscreen will protect skin from UVB rays, the kind of radiation that causes sunburn, damages skin, and can contribute to skin cancer.

The risk of sun-damage has grown in recent years due to the depletion of the ozone layer and is especially prevalent in Kidman's native Australia.

Kidman considers using SPF the most important lesson she has passed on to her daughters. She pointed out that sun-damage was the principal factor in premature aging of the skin.

The youthful-looking Kidman attributes her fresh complexion to having always avoided harmful exposure to the sun without adequate protection.

Kidman is married to country star Keith Urban, and the devoted couple shares two daughters: Faith Margaret Kidman Urban, aged 7, and Sunday Rose Kidman Urban.
