It had been almost two months since Sparks and her husband, Dana Isaiah, welcomed their first born, Dana Isaiah Jr., who they fondly call baby boy DJ.

28-year-old Sparks began having contractions on May 1st but her water broke the next day.

During the interview with the media outlet, Sparks admitted that there had been times when she still couldn’t believe that she is already a mother.

She decided to have an all-natural delivery at a birthing center. For her, hospitals felt weird and strange.

Sparks added, “I had a feeling I wasn’t going to be comfortable on my back and I didn’t want to have to give birth that way.”

Sparks’ 26-year-old husband shared that his wife handled the birth like a “champ.” Read more details about Sparks’ pregnancy journey on our Twitter page. Follow us at AmoMama USA.

The delivery was an emotional one according to the couple. Sparks pointed out how her husband stayed with her the entire time.

“When I was going to different places and different universes with the contractions, he was right there in my ear or rubbing my back,” she shared.

By the time the baby was about to arrive, Isaiah – who is a model - was the one who received his son.

Sharing his thoughts about the entire delivery, Isaiah said, “People have told me ‘Once you see your wife like that you can never change the image in your head,’ but I was so excited about him actually coming that I was just like ‘All right, come on! Come on!'”

The pair revealed how they cried for a few minutes after the delivery. Isaiah explained how it was a realizing moment for the both of them.

At that point, it hit them that they were officially parents and everything they have been preparing for was already in their hands.

At present, the family of three have settled in at the Los Angeles home and just enjoying some quality time together.

Sparks and Isaiah – who tied the knot in July 2017 – have been reveling on every milestone their baby boy has achieved since he was born.
