The Duggar family's Instagram account was filled with happy glowing images of 8-year-old Josie Duggar. Born number 19, in a family of 19 siblings, 'miracle baby' Josie Duggar was the tiniest of them all.

Josie was born three and a half months premature. She was born only 25 weeks into the pregnancy. Josie weighed only one pound at the time of delivery and was in the NICU for 6 months after birth.

The whole world saw and prayed along with the Duggar family, as they saw the events unfold on hit TLC show 19 Kids and Counting.

Although the show is off the air now, the avid fans of the show still worry about little Duggar’s health, since they saw her grow from newborn to toddler while struggling with all her health issues

The scariest of Josie's health condition was when she suffered a seizure on camera at the tender age of 5. The situation was so dire that director Scott Emlow pitched in to help the family and took her to the hospital.

Family matriarch Michelle Duggar says that Josie is a healthy child, and her premature birth has not stopped her from enjoying her life just like any of her other siblings.

Fans of the show have been critical of the fact that Josie’s health issues and childhood was open for all to see as part of the TV show.

Experts worry that Josie might face embarrassment once she grows up as the people she meets may see her through the lens of the television series, according to ABC News.

Fans also speculate that as she is the youngest and the most delicate of all the Duggar children, she may be getting preferential treatment from her parents, and is their favorite.

In 2013, Michelle shared that although Josie had caught up on life like every other child, she is not allowed to have dairy products in her diet.
