Former beauty queen found dead at her house
The woman who was crowned as Miss Great Britain several years ago passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.
The Love Island star, Sophie Gradon, wrote a heartbreaking tweet a few days before her death, as reported by British newspaper Independent.co.uk. She died at the age of 32 on Wednesday, June 20.
On June 15, five days before his death Gradon wrote: "I feel very profound tonight, reflecting on life and what it means to be alive."
Miss Britain accompanied the tweet with a poem by J. Raymond:
"I want to live and love recklessly, fly higher, drive faster, feel too deeply, and act on things despite fear I want to be out of control, laugh without stopping, meet more strange people, forge memories when I least expect it, give less, see beautiful and unusual things. "
"Try new foods, fall in love with as many things as possible," the poem continues. "I want to learn, and I want to question things more, because, my God, our time in this life is limited, and I swear, it's never enough"
Gradon recently gained notoriety as one of the first same-sex couples in the "Love Island" story, in 2016, alongside Katie Salmon. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa
Shortly before she passed away, Gradon had been picked as the face of North-East based Pink Boutique’s marketing campaign, featuring styling videos and a Love Island-themed collection.
After the news of his death, his current partner, Aaron Armstrong, posted a picture of both on his Facebook page, writing: "I will never forget that smile, I love you so much, so much, so much baby, you are my world, for and forever".
Originally from Newcastle, Gradon was crowned as Miss Britain in 2009. On her death, a spokesperson for the Northumbria Police said:
"Approximately at about 8:27 PM yesterday, the police visited a residence in Medburn, Ponteland, where sadly a 32-year-old woman was found dead."
Police also added that "it is not believed that there are suspicious circumstances surrounding his death, a report will now be prepared by the coroner." The cause of Gradon's death has not yet been revealed.
