Khloé Kardashian sparks outrage after revealing baby True's pierced ears

TV personality and businesswoman Khloé Kardashian is receiving some backlash because she pierced True's ears and the baby girl is only two months old.

True’s pierced ears were portrayed in the photo that Khloé sister, Kim Kardashian West, uploaded to her Instagram account on Khloé’s birthday. In it, both women were sitting on a couch side to side smiling for the camera.

Even though the fact that they were wearing little-to-no makeup was shocking, the most 'remarkable' aspect of the post was True’s pierced ears that were barely seen.

As soon as Khloé’s fans and followers noticed that, they took to social media to share negative comments about it, saying that the baby was still too young to have her ears pierced.

One of them was Facebook user Patricia Anne Lindo, who pointed out that, at that age, children are very vulnerable to infections and that even common and seemingly harmless things like being bathed could infect their pierced ears.

Lindo added that the baby always could pull it off accidentally, or even squeeze it, which might also be very troublesome. Jennifer Houseman, another Facebook user, addressed a different aspect about True’s ears.

Houseman admitted that doing it that young doesn’t necessarily mean that the baby would get an infection, but she said that having earrings might not be what all girls want when they get older. Houseman finally wrote that she wasn’t even sure if the holes close after all those years.

Finally, Facebook user Pyonepyone Maw said that a child should have the right to choose whether or not they want to pierce their ears whenever they like when they get older.

Even though several people consider that piercing a baby’s ears is cruel, many more believe that it is some sort of ‘tradition.’

So far, neither Khloé nor her boyfriend and father of True Tristan Thompson has said anything about it.
