Tichina Arnold shares video of her mother and daughter showing off rapping skills on her birthday

The actress and singer is a very proud momma of a teenage daughter, and often shares photos and videos of the youngster to her social media account.

Tichina Arnold's 14-year-old daughter, Alijah Kai Haggins, may still only be in her early teens, but the actress has already shown that her daughter seems to have inherited her voice talents.

Haggins is interested in joining the entertainment industry as she grows up, and also has a keen interest in ballet.

But it was an Instagram post by Arnold that demonstrated just how good of a fit the entertainment industry might be for her daughter.

The birthday message, sung by both Haggins and Arnolds' mother, saw the pair not only singing the tradiitonal message, but also freestyle rapping a message of their own!

Within a single day, the post was viewed almost 60,000 times, and has over 12,000 likes.

Arnold first showcased her own incredible voice in her role as Pamela James on Martin. She later became a recording artist, under the stage name China Ro.

She has enjoyed plenty of success in the music industry as well, with a collaboration with house music artist Inaya Day that reached the number 2 in the Billboard Club Play chart a few years ago.

Haggins, who she shares with record producer Carvin Haggins, is now following in her mother's footsteps.

Arnold is always sharing footage of her daughter singing, whether that's on the way to school in the car, or at family gatherings. And the teenager always sounds full of confidence in her beautiful voice.

Haggins has certainly inherited her mother's sunny personality and positive attitude to life, and has just as much sass as her famous mama.
