Two lynx scream at each other in the middle of the road and make the weirdest sounds
Two lynx wail at each other, seemingly arguing over something. The rare incident was surprisingly caught on tape.
A video uploaded to YouTube by The Weather Network showed two lynxes screaming at each other in strange noises. The incident was caught on tape in Ontario, Canada.
The Canada lynx seemed to be in some sort of heated debate with intense yowling at each other for an extended period of time.
Filmed by Edward Trist and his girlfriend, Nicole Lewis, the encounter took place on a rural logging road.
Trist told Global News, "We started off down this road and there were two [lynxes] on the road and as we approached, they didn't move which was really odd."

That was when the couple got out of their vehicle and started to film the sighting which they consider to be a "very, very rare to catch."

In the video, the wails from the two animals seem almost human-like and are very loud. They almost look like they are arguing over something.

The screams take a slow and steady start and then turn into aggressive high-pitched yelling. However, none of the animals seem to want to start a fight.
One of the lynxes does take a jab at the another, but it does not culminate into anything serious. They also seem to be headbutting each other from time to time but there is no real malice intended. In the end, both the animals just keep on wailing at each other.
Trist stated that the audio of the animals screaming is the most 'bizarre thing' about the incident. He also explained that he had heard similar sounds previously, but the action of headbutting caught him off guard.
He also admitted that the two animals were trying to intimidate each other with their noises and it was really an "amazing" experience to witness it.
