Gabby Sidibe shows off her slimmer figure in white T-shirt and skintight pants in new photo

Award-winning actress Gabourey Sidibe, best known for the film Precious, took to Instagram to share a photo where she looked terrific.

The image portrayed Sidibe wearing a white shirt, camo pants, and sneakers while holding a bottle of water and her purse. For the caption, the actress only wrote that some days her workday finishes by 10 am so that she would be taking naps.

One of the most remarkable aspects of the picture was Sidibe’s figure as it looked a lot slimmer than it did a couple of months ago.

Several fans and followers noticed it, and they took to the comment section to praise her for such accomplishment. Instagram user Carolyn Thrower pointed out that Sidibe was looking good and ‘slimming down’

It was not the first time that the actress wore those pants. As Celebritist previously reported, Sidibe posted a photo two weeks ago wearing a dark red jumper that had gold and blue pattern in the middle and those camo pants

The Precious star weight-loss journey started in May 2016, when she underwent laparoscopic bariatric surgery. The reason she did so was that she and her brother Ahmed were diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.

Sidibe later pointed out that she had the surgery done because she didn’t want to worry about what the disease might do to her body, so it was a sort of preventive decision.

Even though several fans try to encourage her on her weight-loss process, she has remarked many times that she doesn’t need people’s support as her body has nothing to do with her fans.

‘It just annoys me because I’m just like, don’t congratulate me on that. If you’re going to congratulate me on my weight loss, also congratulate me every time I pee. Congratulate me every time I’m burping,’ said Sidibe.

At the moment, the actress is focused on Empire, the musical drama TV series wherein she portrays Becky Williams.
