Trump's son reportedly 'ran into traffic' to save woman who passed out on the street

The 34-year-old businessman and television personality, Eric Trump, assisted a pedestrian who passed out near a New York subway station.

The Washington Examiner was contacted by an eyewitness who saw Eric "almost getting hit by a bicyclist [as he] shouted at the ambulance to get its attention."

The person, who prefers to remain anonymous but is adamant that they have no connection to the Trump family, commended Eric for his sense of urgency.

His bravery paid off, and an ambulance arrived to assist the woman. The observer added that Eric and his security detail left the scene shortly after. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa

The Examiner contacted Eric, who said he was glad that he could help the pedestrian and is grateful to the emergency service personnel.

"We just happened to be in the right place at the right time. I’m especially grateful to the EMTs who took over. It was certainly my first time hailing an ambulance in New York City."

The New York Fire Department confirmed to the NY Post that they were indeed called out at 8:30 am. The patient had suffered a cardiac condition but didn't require hospitalization.

The woman had lost consciousness just one block away from the infamous Trump Tower, where Eric and his older brother Donald Jr. oversee President Trump's business interests.

It's also two blocks away from Central Park, as well as Eric's condominium apartment in the Trump Parc East, according to Daily Mail.

Eric is married to Lara Lea Ynaska, a former producer at Inside Edition. She can currently be seen on Real News, a vlog-style YouTube channel aimed at 'combatting fake news.'

The couple announced their engagement in 2013 and will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary in November. They have a nine-month-old son, Eric Luke, who is President Trump's ninth grandchild.
