Jennifer Lopez sparks engagement rumors with recent intimate photo

Fans were in a frenzy as they assumed their idol is now engaged when Jennifer Lopez posted an intimate Fourth of July photo with her boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez.

On July 4th, Lopez and Rodriguez had some downtime at the beach with their kids, as shown on the World of Dance star’s Instagram post.

The photo looked romantic as the couple was captured locking eyes and flashing big smiles, but what struck fans the most was the ring Lopez was wearing on her finger.

The 48-year-old donned a neon pink, one-piece swimsuit while leaning on a topless A-Rod. She captioned the sweet photo, ‘It’s the lil quiet moments that matter the most.’

Upon closer look, Lopez can be seen wearing a ring, which led fans to assume that Rodriguez had already popped the big question to Lopez.

One fan named Heidi Nicholson wrote in the comments section, ‘Is that a new ring on your finger?’

Another fan, Maria Peroulakis, instantly assumed and tagged her friend, writing, ‘Yes! They are engaged!!’

Despite the frenzy, the ring seems to be just a simple gold piece. Perhaps the ring could only be newly purchased by the singer herself. Fans will have to wait for the couple’s announcement to confirm the speculation.

Amid the rumors, the couple seemed to have had a good time during Independence Day as the 42-year-old former MLB pro shared a video on Instagram featuring Lopez lip-syncing to a couple of songs during a road trip around Bridgehampton, New York.

Later on, Lopez posted a video of her enjoying the festivities on the night of July 4th.

Previously, Lopez talked about the possibility of marriage on Good Morning America and shared that they are currently doing things on their own pace. She also noted how much she has matured over the years and how they are taking their time.

She added, "And our life right now is incredibly wonderful. Between our kids and our work, we're truly blessed. We don't need anything more right now."

In response to Lopez’s comments, Rodriguez spoke with Entertainment Tonight and said, "We're raising our children... there's four of them, and that's what we strive to do every day," he added. "For us, it's all about the kids."
