Kelly Osbourne Reportedly Splits from Fiancé Sid Wilson Just Seven Months After He Proposed

She was standing backstage at what would become her father’s final concert when the man beside her got down on one knee. Months later — after Ozzy Osbourne’s death and a period of personal upheaval — Kelly Osbourne’s engagement is now over.

Kelly Osbourne and Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson, 49, have quietly called off their engagement, parting ways as Kelly, 41, navigates the aftermath of her father Ozzy Osbourne’s death and a period of personal upheaval.

The couple shares a three-year-old son, Sidney, who is named after his father.

A source close to Kelly told the Daily Mail she has endured a difficult month, navigating the end of the relationship while keeping her focus on her son.

"Kelly and Sid have decided to call off their engagement. Kelly has been struggling following the loss of her father. The grieving process has been incredibly difficult, and she's been doing everything she can to cope."

According to the publication, the pressures between the pair had been present well before the separation became final.

"In truth, she and Sid have been facing challenges in their relationship for some time, and things were not as they appeared. They tried to make it work, particularly for the sake of their child, but ultimately decided that separating is the best path forward."

The pair had known each other for more than two decades, first meeting during Ozzfest before turning their long friendship into a relationship in 2022. On Valentine's Day that year, Kelly shared a photo of the pair and wrote:

"After 23 years of friendship, I can't believe where we have ended up. You are my best friend, my soulmate, and I am so deeply in love with you, Sidney George Wilson."

They welcomed their son later that year, soon after Kelly announced the pregnancy news with a photo of herself holding a sonogram, captioned:

"I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why… I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma. To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic! 🤰

Sid proposed backstage at Black Sabbath's reunion concert in Birmingham on 5 July 2025, in front of the whole family, including Ozzy, Sharon, and her brother Jack. The post was simply captioned, "Oh and this happened yesterday!"

Kelly later said she had no idea the moment was coming.

Just weeks later, Ozzy Osbourne died on 25 July at the age of 76, marking a significant period of change in Kelly’s personal life.

Earlier this month, Kelly appeared to hint at the strain in a candid Instagram post, writing, "I am going through one of the hardest periods of my life. I shouldn't have to defend myself, but I also won't allow myself to be dehumanised like this."

The source confirmed she remains sober and is now focused on herself and her role as a mother. Kelly Osbourne was last pictured with Sid at the Grammy Awards in February.

Since then, she has kept a low profile, appearing only with close friends and her mother, Sharon, as she focuses on rebuilding her life and raising her son.
