The 41-year-old attended the ceremony on February 1, where the late rock icon was honoured with a tribute performance. While speaking on the red carpet, Kelly gave a rare and candid update on her wellbeing, offering insight into how the loss continues to shape her daily life:

"To be honest with you, I won't lie, people usually say, 'I'm great.' I'm not doing so great. It's the hardest thing I've ever been through in my life, but I'm getting through and we're doing everything we can to try and just live in his legacy and be happy."

The interviewer acknowledged the impact of Ozzy's death, noting that he would be celebrated during the ceremony. Kelly responded by highlighting the importance of the tribute for her entire family, particularly her mother.

"It's so lovely that his peers and this community that he loved so much is going to be acknowledging him and his work tonight. And it's just as much about my mom as it is my dad, and we're here to support her through it," she said.

When asked whether the loss had brought the family closer, Kelly confirmed that it had reshaped their bond. "I mean, we're closer now than we ever have been. We're all we have, and we've experienced the biggest loss we will ever go through," she shared.

Her remarks quickly circulated online, where many people praised her honesty about grief. One person said, "This is such a great and honest reply, I feel ya babe. ❤️‍🩹"

Another shared, "Losing a parent you adore is unimaginably painful. The grief is forever and you never stop missing them, you just learn to live without them 😢." A third commented, "My heart goes out to her and her whole family! You are never the same after someone you love so much dies."

Images from the Grammys led some to speculate about her health, including suggestions that an eating disorder could be involved.

At the same time, attention also turned to Kelly's physical appearance at the event, with footage and photos from the red carpet prompting renewed discussion about her health.

The reality star walked the Grammy carpet in a fitted, sleeveless gown, with her platinum-blonde hair styled straight, standing alongside her family during interviews.

Several comments expressed concern. One person commented, "She's suffering, I hope she's being looked after and gets happy and healthy." Another typed, "It doesn't matter what she does to her own body she will never be pretty enough, for herself [sic]. It's a shame. I hope she finds peace."

A third wrote, "Kelly need [sic] help ... OMG..." while another added, "For sure she now looks just like her mom."

The reaction followed similar scrutiny after Kelly posted a photo taken on the day of the ceremony showing her hands resting on her very small waist. Images from the Grammys led some to speculate about her health, including suggestions that an eating disorder could be involved.

Kelly has never disclosed having an eating disorder. She has, however, been mourning Ozzy's July 2025 passing, which was acknowledged during the Grammys' In Memoriam segment.

Her mother, Sharon Osbourne, has previously attributed Kelly's slim appearance to grief, explaining last year that the loss had affected her appetite.

Kelly has also consistently denied claims that her weight loss is linked to Ozempic or similar GLP-1 receptor agonist drugs. Addressing the rumours in April 2024, she said:

"I know everybody thinks I took Ozempic. I did not take Ozempic. I don't know where that came from."

Furthermore, her changing appearance predates her father's passing. Kelly previously revealed that she lost around 85 pounds following gastric sleeve surgery in 2018, which reduces food intake by removing much of the stomach.

Then, after becoming pregnant in 2022, she shared that doctors warned she was at risk of diabetes if she did not lose the post-pregnancy weight, prompting her to adopt a diet low in carbohydrates and sugar.

Reflecting on that period in 2023, Kelly said, "I was on a mission after having the baby to lose all my baby weight. And then I was like, 'Well, I lost all the baby weight, let's see how far I can go with it.' [I] went a little bit too far, but [I] stopped."

Despite repeatedly stating that she is healthy, Kelly has continued to address public concern, particularly since her father's death. In December, she responded directly to the scrutiny, saying:

"I'm just here to say, what do you expect from me? What do you expect me to look like right now? The fact that I'm getting out of bed and facing my life and trying to be more than enough, I should be commended for that."

While Kelly Osbourne has never indicated that she suffers from an eating disorder, the combination of visible grief and intense public scrutiny has kept concern surrounding her health firmly in the spotlight.
