John Stamos shared cute photo holding little Billy and was dad-shamed
Actor John Stamos took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of himself and his son. His followers were quick to dad-shame him after seeing the snapshot.
Stamos recently took his son, baby Billy, who he welcomed in April 2018, to New York City. He shared a picture of their day-out bonding and his fans’ reactions were not the ones he anticipated.
On the caption, the actor wrote, ‘The Stamos boys take Manhattan.’ Perhaps he may have expected his fans to shower his comments section with compliments of how adorable the photo was, but it wasn’t the case.
Supposedly, the new father was dad-shamed after social media users saw the way he placed his baby in a harness during their walk around Time Square.

Fans complained that the baby should be facing Stamos while inside the carrier instead of the opposite direction since fans said he’s too young and it would not be safe for Billy.
Even though there were many complaints, some fans took the liberty of defending the actor and told the haters to mind their own business.
A recent interview with Us Weekly revealed Stamos’ reaction towards the dad-shaming.
He said, "A lot of people were commenting, 'You can’t be holding like that and you shouldn’t be bringing him there yet, he’s too young!' I have so many dad-shamers. It’s crazy."
Despite the criticisms, Stamos did not seem fazed at all and expressed how much he is enjoying being a father.
For this year’s Father’s Day, Stamos shared an adorable photo of him and his son.
He accompanied the father-and-son portrait with a heartwarming caption. He wrote, ‘My first Father’s Day means that from this day forward— I will start to look my age (and older). Most importantly, it means that for the rest of my life, I’ll always be known as someone’s dad. And that’s all I ever wanted. Happy Father’s day.’
