George Clooney able to walk unassisted only a few days after car crash left him hospitalized
George Clooney had a narrow escape when was hit by a car while riding a scooter in Sardinia, Italy.
Actor George Clooney was admitted to the hospital in Olbia, Italy, after being hit by a car in a minor accident on Tuesday, July 10, 2018. People reported that Clooney has not suffered any significant issues and is on the path to recovery.
Clooney was caught stepping out of his private plane as he landed in Rome on Sunday, July 15, 2018. Although there were no significant injuries, the actor was seen walking with a very pronounced limp.
He was unassisted and appeared to be on a path to a speedy recovery. Police reports mentioned that an older gentleman, riding in a Mercedes hit Clooney's scooter. Read more about George Clooney our Twitter account @amomama_usa.

The driver allegedly cut off Clooney's path, even though the scooter was to the right of the lane. CCTV footage from the area showed the collision after which Clooney was thrown of the air and onto the street.
The driver of the car came to his assistance and took him to a hospital immediately. Clooney's wife, Amal, was seen arriving at the hospital soon after.

Clooney was reportedly taken for an MRI upon admission. The actor did not have any broken bones or major injuries to his body. He sustained bruising on one side of his body and slight trauma to the pelvis.
The actor was discharged soon after, and he had been resting and recuperating from his home until now.

Clooney's looked physically comfortable enough to get back to work as he made his way back to Italy within the week.
The 57-year-old star is working on a limited series for streaming service Hulu called Catch-22, for which he was stationed in Italy. He is currently staying in the country with his wife and twin boys.
