Demi Moore roasts ex-husband Bruce Willis live on TV

The surprise appearance of Demi Moore, who split from Bruce Willis after 13 years of marriage, was a hit with the crowd at the actor's Comedy Central Roast.

Bruce Willis was all set to be roasted by a whole set of comedians and actors, all of whom had worked with the actor in some capacity in the past, as part of the latest Comedy Central Roast.

However, the Hollywood Palladium was not expecting a surprise guest, much less for that guest to be the actor's ex-wife, Demi Moore.

Moore was a surprise addition to the roast list, the first of its kind in the history of the roast. The whole audience including Willis was shocked when the host of the night, Joseph Gordon Levitt, introduced her on stage.

Moore performed an extraordinary set, poking fun at their failed marriage, Willis' movies, as well as his disastrous business ventures.

In a sly way, she also credited herself with the success of the first three Die Hard movies, as they were married when they came out.

Die Hard is Willis's most famous franchise, which has dwindled in popularity since its 4th and 5th installment.

Later on, when Willis got up to the stage, he got a chance to return the favor, by teasing that Moore was the only actor who played him.

In the interview following the roast, The 63-year-old actor said that Moore's performance was terrific although surprising.

The couple was married for 12 years between 1987 to 1998. They have three daughters together.

The 55-year-old actress roasted the actor in front of their three daughters, and his current wife, Emma Heming, who were all present in the audience.

Other major performers at the roast were actor Edward Norton, actress Cybill Shepherd, and host Joseph Gordon Levitt. The roast is set to be aired on Comedy Central on Sunday, July 29, 2018.
