Solange's son flaunts his new blonde haircut and looks more like mom in new photos
Daniel Jules J. Smith's latest Instagram posts make him an undeniable son of the famous singer, Solange Knowles.
The 13-year-old surprised and delighted his followers on Instagram when he posted photos of himself sporting blonde hair.
In one photo, he is seen lying in a pool of little balloons while holding a child.
In another, he is seen smirking while seated next to an older woman on a bench.
His resemblance to his mother is unmistakable.
Daniel Jules is Solange's son with former husband, Daniel Smith. He was born on October 18, 2004, eight months after his parents married.
Solange was only 17 while Daniel Smith was 19 when they tied the knot in February 2004.
Solange, who is a sister to the superstar Beyonce, has called her son her greatest blessing in life.
She wrote the song, 6 O'Clock Blues for him, which was featured on her album, Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams.
Daniel Jules was born a year and a half after Solange released her debut album, Solo Star. On the year he was born, Solange had launched an acting career. She starred in Johnson Family Vacation, a comedy film, and in an episode of the series, One on One. The R&B singer is now married to Alan Ferguson.
Solange dated the music video director shortly after she and Daniel Smith split up.
In April this year, Daniel Jules was spotted hanging out with his father at Coachella, where Solange joined Beyonce's performance.
Their performance together made headlines after they tumbled accidentally on the stage. The incident didn't hurt either, to the relief of their fans.
Solange has released three successful albums and has been honored in 2017 with the Impact Award at Billboard Women in Music.
Billboard magazine has also ranked her as the 100th most successful dance artist of all time.
