Family asks for help in finding missing 20-year-old
Mollie Tibbetts, a 20-year-old from Oakland, California, has gone missing and police are looking for any possible information regarding her whereabouts.
Tibbetts was dog--sitting in Brooklyn, Iowa, on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, when she decided to go for a jog dressed in typical workout gear. She hasn't been seen ever since.
Her family immediately took to Facebook to share her picture, as well as a thorough description of her physical features in order to let people known what to look for.
Emily Heaston, Tibbetts' cousin, claimed that there was no such thing as a 'silly tip or lead,' and that every little bit of information could prove to be valuable to the investigation.

A student at the University of Iowa, who also interned at the Grinnell Regional Medical Center, Tibbetts was last seen wearing a black sports bra, a pair of gym shorts and running shoes while jogging around Brooklyn.
So far, miles and miles of farmlands, fields and roads have been thoroughly searched by hundreds of people who got together to look for the 20-year-old, but nothing has come up yet
It is known that the proper authorities are currently focusing their efforts on analyzing Tibbetts' laptop and social media activity, hoping that it will give them a direction to go.
While working on the case, the Poweshiek County Sheriff's Office also took to its Facebook page to share several photos of the missing 20-year-old and to ask anyone to contact them in case they have any pertinent details regarding the investigation.
For now, Tibbetts' family can only hope for the psychology student to come home safe and sound. During an interview with local TV station WOI, Kim Calderwood, her aunt, said that they all missed her very much and promised that they wouldn't stop looking for her.
