A post shared by Michael Strahan on social media revealed what he and Sara Haines would be doing together on television. Strahan shared that he and Haines would be getting their own show on Good Morning America (GMA).
According to the video posted on Instagram, the two stars would be hosting a show called GMA Day. He even revealed when the show would premiere.
In a fun video post on Instagram, Michael Strahan, 46, teased, "I have some very exciting news that I want to share with you guys, but of course I couldn't do it alone." He revealed that he would be hosting GMA Day with Sara Haines, 40.
"It's the new third hour of GMA and we're calling it, GMA Day. GMA Day!" Haines exclaimed energetically. Strahan excitedly urged people to, "Tell your friends, tell your family, shout it from the rooftops!”

The promo video saw a back and forth between the two stars as they pitched their new show. At one point, they shared their platonic love for each other before signing off.
The news comes after Strahan left Live With Kelly over two years ago. There he had co-hosted the show with Kelly Ripa for four years.
He has been at GMA since September 2016. Haines, on the other hand, has been a correspondent on GMA as well as a co-host on The View.
Last week it was reported that she would be leaving the daytime talk show to co-host GMA Day with Strahan. The new hour will start on Monday, September 10.
It’s set to replace The Chew, which was recently canceled.
