Kelly Osbourne has set tongues wagging after being spotted getting very cosy with a mystery companion at an exclusive London after-party — and the photos of her new confidante are already igniting buzz online.

In the early hours of last Sunday morning, 22 March, the 41-year-old was spotted tucked away in a cosy corner of Soho's upscale Broadwick Hotel, giggling with a close friend during the exclusive after-party for Lily Allen's run of shows at the London Palladium.

The two were hardly keeping things subtle — snapping selfies together on Kelly's large tripod, lit up by a bright backlight, as drinks flowed and whispers spread across the room. "They were all over each other all night and were hardly trying to hide it," one partygoer told the Daily Mail.

The insider described a bond that clearly runs deep, noting, "You can tell Kelly relies on them — they never left her side all night, and if they ever did, Kelly would follow." The pair had also been seen chatting warmly with Lily herself during the evening.

The person generating all that buzz is Kiinicki — a 37-year-old non-binary hairdresser based in Los Angeles who uses they/them pronouns and whose given name has not been made public.

What gives the story an extra dimension is the timing. Kelly has recently and quietly ended her engagement to Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson — the father of her three-year-old son, Sidney Jr. — a relationship that also carried the weight of a 27-year friendship behind it.

It was in the aftermath of that break-up, as well as the devastating loss of her father — rock legend Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away in July — that Kiinicki is said to have stepped up as a genuine "shoulder to cry on".

Showing just how seriously they take that role, Kiinicki made the journey from Los Angeles to London to be with Kelly and her son during her time in the UK.

The two made no attempt to stay under the radar while in the city last weekend. On the Saturday, before the after-party, Kelly and Kiinicki spent the day together strolling through London in matching crochet beanies before sitting side by side at the Palladium for Lily's show.

By the time the after-party photographs began circulating, the question on everyone's lips was already forming. The day after the hotel gathering, Kelly gave her Instagram followers an even more intimate glimpse into her current world.

She posted a photo of herself, Kiinicki and little Sidney Jr. all lounging in bed together — each of them with a nappy balanced on their head — while they kept her poorly toddler entertained.

"Little man has conjunctivitis, so we are entertaining him — thank the lord he is feeling better," she captioned the post.

Playful, warm and entirely unguarded, it was the kind of image that leaves little room for ambiguity about just how present Kiinicki has become in Kelly's day-to-day life.

It is worth noting that Kelly has previously spoken openly about her views on love and attraction. Speaking to LGBT publication PrideSource back in 2017, she said, "My whole rule is, never say never. Ive never been in a relationship with a woman, but I don't know that it's not a possibility."

Whether those words feel newly relevant right now is something only Kelly can answer. Online, the reaction has been a vivid mix.
