Serena Williams' daughter shows off her cute teeth in new picture with mom and dad
Serena Williams’ daughter appears to be enjoying her parents’ full attention in a recent photo where she also showcases her teeth. Their family is currently on vacation in Italy following the tennis player’s loss at Wimbledon.
Serena Williams hasn’t let a day go by without being with her daughter, Alexis Olympia, since she welcomed her in September. And every chance she gets, she shares their moments together for her social media fans to see. She and Olympia’s father, Alexis Ohanian, have been doting parents to their 9-month-old whose own Instagram account (yes, she has one!) is also filled with snaps of the little girl as she grows before her parents’ eyes
The latest post in Olympia’s account features the curly haired cutie flanked between her parents who lovingly stare at her. The family were in Venice, Italy and appeared to be inside a vehicle when the snap was taken.
“They are always staring at me,” Olympia seemed to say in the caption as she showcased her teeth, all four of them, while holding on to her dad’s arm.
Just a few days ago, Serena shared an emotional post marking 319 days of Olympia’s life with a photo of her sleeping daughter laying against her chest. The touching mother-daughter moment was the perfect pic to accompany her caption which read,
“319 days since I gave birth to this amazing baby @OlympiaOhanian I’ve spent 319 of those days with her. I’m so fortunate."
Serena’s post came in the heels of her recent loss at Wimbledon where she was defeated in the Ladies Singles Finals by Angelique Kerber. In an emotional interview after the match, Serena admitted she was disappointed but was even more optimistic about what’s ahead.
"It was such an amazing tournament for me. I was really happy to get this far. It's obviously disappointing, but I can't be disappointed. I have so much to look forward to. I’m literally just getting started."
Serena also dedicated her final game in the tournament to all mothers. She knew entering the competition that it was a tougher challenge for her having had to juggle training and motherhood. She had to stop breastfeeding Olympia earlier this year and admitted crying over it. She also shed tears when she missed her first steps because she was out training.
Nevertheless, Serena proved she was up for the challenge and fought her way to the finish line. She may not have bagged her eighth title in the tournament, but she’s still a winner in many mothers’ eyes.
