Idris Elba’s fiancé proves she’s quite a catch in her latest post, just months after her engagement to the actor.

Since she earned the title of Idris Elba’s fiancé early this year, Sabrina Dhowre has been the subject of curious minds who wonder about the woman who snagged the actors’ heart. And a recent post of the former beauty queen proves what a catch she really is. She stunned wearing a traditional royal blue Somali dress that highlighted her Somalian beauty. It’s unclear what event she was garbed for but as her caption revealed, there was cake involved which she sadly missed.

Sabrina’s engagement to the 45-year-old actor happened in February right before the London screening of Idris’ film ‘Yardie.’ Idris dropped on one knee and popped the question on stage and it was all caught on camera.

The couple met in 2017 in Canada where Sabrina resides and where Idris was then filming “The Mountain Between Us’ with Kate Winslet. The actor told People their relationship was pretty special as they fell in love while he was filming a movie about falling in love. They came out publicly as a couple at the film’s premiere in September during the Toronto International Film Festival.

As Sabrina’s name suddenly hit the headlines after their engagement, so did details about her. It was revealed she was 29 and had a yearlong stint at Miss Vancouver. The model/actress is fairly new to social media having only debuted on Instagram in September. She doesn’t have a Twitter account which makes her a pretty private person. And while this would be her first marriage, it was reported she convinced Idris who’d been married before to give it another chance. Idris once disclosed he didn’t think he would marry again resigning to the fact that “it’s not my life’s calling.” But since meeting Sabrina, apparently all that’s been thrown out the window.

The couple recently spent a relaxing vacation in Ibiza, most likely solidifying their relationship ahead of their wedding. They spent Father’s Day weekend at the beach with Idris’ 3-year-old son, Winston. The couple were spotted sailing the ocean and getting all affectionate as they shared a few laughs and took photos while laying out in the sun. Idris even shared a moment to his Instagram followers by posting a Story depicting their romantic vacation.
