Suspicious body discovered near President Trump's golf course
On Wednesday evening a body was found at the Trump Golf Links near the Whitestone Bridge in the Bronx. Reports say the body was badly decomposed.
According to CBS New York, the unidentified person was deceased. The person’s gender and cause of death are under investigation.
A badly decomposed body was found in the Bronx late on Wednesday near Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point. Conflicting reports said the body was found by either a hiker or children playing by the East River shore.
The body was found at around 8:30 p.m. in a grassy area on the rocks along the Hutchinson River Parkway near the public course. The golf course is operated by the Trump Organization which is President Donald Trump’s private company.

The person’s gender and cause of death are currently being investigated. Police sources said the cause of death appeared suspicious.
The NYPD Harbor Unit was also called to the area. Security guards for the Trump golf course blocked access to the establishment.
The city’s medical examiner is expected to determine the cause of death. This isn’t the first time that one of Trump’s golf courses is involved in scandals.
Last year, the body of a 26-year-old woman washed up on the beach by the Trump National Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. In 2016, the Trump Organization made an agreement with New York City to operate a public golf course on the site of the former Bronx landfill.
In May, this year, a man opened fire at the Trump National Doral Golf Club. It was reported that he had been yelling "anti-Trump ... rhetoric" there according to Miami-Dade police Director Juan Perez.
The man was later identified as Jonathan Oddi, 42, of Doral, Florida.
