Demi Lovato is reportedly getting better with ex-boyfriend by her side
Demi Lovato is reportedly getting better after she suffered an overdose and her ex-boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama, seems to be spending quite some time by her side.
Emergency response units were called to Lovato's house in Hollywood Hills on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, after Lovato overdosed on an undisclosed drug after been allegedly clean for six years.
According to E! News, she is getting better and Valderrama has been spotted going in and out of Cedars-Sinai hospital since Tuesday, as a way of showing his support for the 25-year-old, whom he dated on an off from 2013 to 2016.
Lovato was found unconscious at her Los Angeles home and paramedics administered Narcan, which is commonly used to reverse opioid overdoses, before transporting her to the hospital.

The news outlet shared that Lovato has been visited by her whole family, who has been very supportive. Much like Valderrama, they too have been there for the singer during several challenges in her life.
Lovato has struggled with substance abuse for many years and ultimately admitted that she didn't make it to six years of sobriety in her song, Sober, in which she apologized to her parents for what she had done.
As her ex-boyfriend, and someone who has always been very close to Lovato, 38-year-old Valderrama has seen her through many ups and downs and was her rock in some of her darkest moments.
According to People, a source, whose identity is yet to be revealed, claims that it is heartbreaking for the actor to see the 25-year-old back in such a 'sad and vulnerable place.'
The same source revealed that, despite their break up in 2016, Lovato still hoped for a chance for them to be a couple again because 'he is the love of her life and vice versa.'
