Country legend Loretta Lynn is mourning a terrible loss
Loretta Lynn, one of the most famous faces and voices in the country music industry, is currently morning the loss of her brother Herman Webb at the age of 83.
Webb, who was described as being a very nice man with great morals and values, drew his last breath on Saturday, July 28, 2018, in Kentucky surrounded by loved ones.
The news of his death was shared by his sister, Crystal Gayle, who took to her Instagram account to let her friends, fans and followers know of the terrible loss.
Although Webb's cause of death is yet to be revealed, Gayle said that he died with his children by his side. He wasn't as famous as Lynn, but he was quite known for being the one in charge of their old home in Kentucky.

'The Sheriff of Butcher,' as Gayle loved to call her brother, used to spend his days giving tours of the house in which the family lived back when he was performing with his band.
"I called Herman ‘The Sheriff of Butcher Hollow.’ I even found him a badge to make it ‘official.' I know he is now and forever a sheriff in Heaven. We love and miss you, Herman!”

Webb was the third oldest of eight children in the family, as a well as the keeper of the original home in Van ear, where he was the owner of a store called Webb's Grocery.
Aside from Lynn, Gayle and his children, Webb is survived by his sisters Peggy Sue Wright and Betty Ruth Webb. As of yet, no funeral arrangements have been revealed.
This was the second brother that Lynn and Gayle mourned in less than a year. On October 13, 2017, they cried for Donald Ray Webb, who passed away at the age of 76 at his home in Wabash, Indiana.
