'America's Got Talent' showcases exciting performance of 71-year-old ballroom dancer

A 71-year-old ballroom dancer named Quin Bommeije and her partner, Misha Vlasov, impressed the America's Got Talent judges with her remarkable performance.

Bommeije, who is originally from Thailand, proved that age is just a number by twirling around the stage as her husband, whose name is yet to be revealed, watched from the audience.

The 71-year-old's dance moves were so inspiring that a video of her performance on America's Got Talent ended up on the show's Youtube page, along with several others where she can be seen stealing the show on the dance floor.

According to Entertainment Tonight, during a pre-recorded skit that played before her appearance in front of the judges, Bommeije told the viewers a little bit about herself.

She confessed that she would never have believed that she would get the chance the be on the show and that it meant a great deal to her considering that she was the daughter of a simple rice farmer.

Stil, Bommeije shared that it was thanks to her parents' work ethic that she managed to follow her dreams, and revealing that she has only been a ballroom dancer for the past ten years.

Before the show, the AGT contestant explained that she found her passion for ballroom dancing when she and her husband, with whom she has been married for almost five decades, took a dance class a decade ago.

In the first three years, her husband would dance with her, but after that, he couldn't keep up with Bommeije, which led her to partner up with 35-year-old Vlasov.

Her performance on stage impressed everyone, especially Heidi Klum and special guest Martina McBride, who told her that she was able to inspire people of all ages.

The singer was so moved by the act that she didn't think twice before slamming the prestigious Golden Buzzer, which sent the pair immediately through to the live rounds, which will take place at the Dolby Theater, in Hollywood.
