Jennifer Lopez attracts attention in unusual tropical outfit on 'Today' show

Jennifer Lopez dropped by on the Today show to support her boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez. The star wore an eye-catching ensemble for the special appearance.

Rodriguez was co-hosting the fourth hour with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. Lopez was present to support him and she was accompanied by her mother.

As revealed on the Today website, Lopez and her mom though Rodriguez did a “fantastic job” co-hosting.

The pair was also photographed as they stepped out of the NBC Studios at Rockefeller Center

Lopez attracted attention with her bold, printed, turtleneck top paired with plain white, high-waist pants.

She finished off the look with her Quay Australia sunglasses and her Gucci belt.

Her makeup was kept simple and her hair was tied in a tight bun, which further accentuated her prominent cheekbones.

As for Rodriguez, he wore a dark shirt and buttoned-up suit.

During his co-hosting gig on the Today show, Rodriguez talked about his relationship with Lopez. He proudly said that they met at such a perfect time in their lives.

He said, "To be honest, if this happened when we were in our 20s, it would have never happened. It was just too much craziness. I wasn't mature enough. You know, boys, we got to get our dumbness out of the way."

Rodriguez also pointed out their similarities, saying they are both in their 40’s and are from New York. He also revealed they both come from Latina backgrounds and that they both have two kids.

He added, "I think we've both been through a lot and can really appreciate each other."

It seems that the couple is at such a good point in their lives with their relationship and their respective careers.

Speaking of careers, Lopez is set to receive MTV’s most special and award for the 2018 Video Music Awards, which is the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award.
