Sheree Whitfield breaks silence on whether she's getting married to her incarcerated boyfriend

Sheree Whitfield speaks up regarding rumors of her getting married to her incarcerated boyfriend. While this could have been an interesting storyline for the "Real Housewives of Atlanta," the former reality TV star is just not having it.

In an exclusive interview with US Weekly, Whitfield reveals that she is not planning a jailhouse wedding any time soon. While she stands firm in love and support for her boyfriend Tyrone Gilliams, she ensures everyone that she will not be getting married until he is released from jail. According to her, Tyrone has been expressing his interest in marrying her, but she will not be doing that while he is in jail.

"I mean he would love to marry me right now, but I am not marrying someone who is in prison. I am keeping my options open."

While Sheree ensures the publication that she still loves Tyrone, she says she is keeping her options open while he is in jail. However, lucky for him, no one has caught her heart and her mind.

"I meet people all the time and the crazy thing is, no one has been able to hold my attention or grab it. No one has been able to get in my mind and my head. He is still around, but I say at the same time, I love him and I have said it before, if he comes home and I am still available and everything is great, what he is doing and what he says he is going to do, then absolutely I can see a future.”

According to the Bravo star, she and her boyfriend started talking "two or two and a half years ago". However, it has only been a year since they got serious. Gilliams is currently facing 10-years in prison after stealing $5 million in wire fraud schemes.

When asked how she feels about Tyrone, she shares that nothing has changed.

"It is going good, he is still my best friend. He is a good guy and he is still my best friend."

In April, news that Whitfield would not be returning to RHOA for season 11 was released. While she has been a regular for the last couple of years, it was her that denied the network's offer to star in the next seasons for personal reasons.
