Latest Internet challenge has a 93-year-old man dancing on the street

It seems the Internet is going crazy over yet another "challenge." This time it doesn't involve eating detergent capsules or playing a mannequin.

All that is required is that you step out of a moving car and dance, and one Salem, Oregon man was so amused by his great-grandson's performance and decided he would try it out for himself.

What makes this man different from all the others who have accepted the Kiki Challenge? Nothing, unless you count his age. He is 93 years old and counting and the news of his daring has gone viral on Facebook.

"The video is of my ninety-three-year-old Grandpa doing the viral Kiki challenge. Earlier in the day I had recorded my nine-year-old doing it and had shown it to my Grandpa. He thought it was hilarious, so I suggested that he could do it as well if he wanted."

What is the Kiki Challenge?

The #KikiChallenge or #InMyFeelingsChallenge consists of jumping out of a moving car and breaking into a dance to the sound of Canadian rapper Drake's track, called ‘In My Feelings’ from his latest album ‘Scorpion’.

Kiki comes from the lyrics of the song: “Kiki, do you love me?” The challenge has caught on and is proving to be particularly "challenging" to traffic police.

So how did 93-year-old grandpa get the idea?

The energetic nonagenarian's grandson showed him a video he'd made of his 9-year-old son doing the challenge, and Grandpa thought it was hilarious.

When his grandson suggested he try it, the spry old man agreed and proceeded to show off some cool moves.

And the world loved seeing him dance!

The man's grandson captured his performance on video and posted it online where it immediately went viral.

In the video the old man shows off his steps, keeping to the rhythm of the song with a smile on his face. Clearly, he was having a great time doing the Kiki Challenge.

The Kiki Challenge is only one of the latest string of challenges that have people stepping out into the streets to shimmy and shake their way into the news, one of these is the "Shiggy Challenge."
